magnificat: is not about the moral code, it is in some way, but not in
the shallow sense: it is placing decorum before virtue and obscuring the
normal relationship between the two: there are flowers and angels and
women and poetry — it is certainly about the line between things
and therein lies the secret, ... but some wisdom certainly that was excavated
and found, or translated ... at the very least it is non-conventional,
turned on its head — Nefertiti, rose windows, nine foot Persian
stone flowers ... it is above all a tribute ... fortune's fortune
[mag6]
magnificat: the man who sees beyond the sky, but that's so beautifully
and generously put: to imagine what it is that is beyond the sky, which
we ever must, visions of the invisible: and blessed to him who guards
his insight is at the heart: that is why it is magnificat secrets and
not magnificat common denominators: it is the netherworld where in order
to maintain the image of what we see takes something we know not how to
acquire: it is for certain the inverse of our dreary lives, the lives
in which we earn our daily bread, but literal bread, nothing exciting,
but full of magic nonetheless: the dream of truth's lunacy ...
[mag7]
magnificat: is an image: an image so common and vital that it has become
unnoticed: it is an image of mother and child: it is taken for granted:
this repeated and marginalized treasure: there is something there that
everyone can see but they all ignore: until one day when a story is to
be told: a story is to unfold: the image is to make its mark: to do so
it disappears: it’s omnipresence is its undoing: its ubiquity is
its cloak: its originality is its disappearance: its endurance is its
absence:
[mag10]
magnificat: the code is like a childish language: it’s as if it
can’t quite get to the intent of the origin of the thought, it is
getting sidetracked, but in a charming way, a way that actually leads
somewhere, like a trap door, that is actually more exciting than the original
intent: concepts suddenly become characters who evolve and talk about
not so serious themes, because they know better: because they know the
secrets: they also have memories and memories built upon memories: they
have systems but their systems have two purposes: to accomplish what they
are meant to accomplish and also to be beautiful systems: and they can
fly:
[mag11]
magnificat: is a puzzle: a puzzle that is being created as it is being
put together: happy memories that were seldom: important for a diary are
the scratched out things: the hated and rejected things that make the
other things beautiful: these beautiful things can’t be beautiful
without the scratched out things there to remind one: that the most direct
route is not always most precious: that progress is sometimes backtracking
to correct mistakes: that not forgetting and finding what one once had
is rare:
[mag14]
magnificat: is impervious in a delicate manner: permanent, but as a series
of fleeting things: audible secrets that are hard to catch: a cryptic
truth that folds upon itself: solid and not destructible but tarnished
beyond measure: the secrets in there are old: the secrets in there are
not decipherable: the secrets in there are magic:
[mag22]
magnificat secrets: water turns to wine, or bad things provide the fundament
for good results: our fermentation could be rotting but instead means
achieving potency over time and hard work: two wrongs together can make
a right miraculously it is darkest before the rosy fingered dawn:
[mag32]
magnificat line: is elusive because it is not in fact a thing, it is rather
the thing that is the nothing between two things: the two things are like
layers and the obtuse space between the two layers is the line: but the
line becomes the thing because the shortest distance to recreating the
two things is to draw the nothing in between them:
[mag72]
magnificat: is opposed to convention but embraces tradition, in order
to find the buried secrets behind the tradition that is convention: the
heart of the motions that is illuminated by forsaking what they have become
but accepting their inherent wisdom through lack of investigation: and
abundance of toil:
[mag77]
magnificat secrets: are stolen from the innocent: purity is impervious
and cannot be eventually taken, but triumphs: before the denouement, over
theft and gravity, stasis and adventure, the horses of instruction, inadvertent
prescience, and darkness before the dawn:
[mag82]
magnificat: is opposed to the ‘horses of instruction’: they
are not wild horses, they are work horses: they are horses with blinders:
they are carriage horses; the mustangs of wrath are aligned with magnificat:
they are irrespective of development: they are disrespectful of decorum:
[mag84]
magnificat is trying to say something, but it can’t quite get at
it: it is more human and playful: not inherited the melancholy from the
past: and indistinct:
